Test the edit while changes are affordable
An animatic arranges storyboard frames against a timeline, often with temporary dialogue or music. It makes pacing and shot order tangible before final footage exists. A sequence that looks strong as separate images may feel slow or confusing when played at the intended duration.
Use feedback to resolve decisions
Review whether the story is understandable, the product appears at the right moment and the ending has enough room. An animatic is not a finished film, so judge structure rather than polish. Consolidated feedback helps the next stage begin with fewer unresolved creative questions.
Connect the plan to production
Approved frames can guide visual development, generation and compositing. Hinton can use storyboards and animatics for pitch development, ad films or longer narrative work. Define whether the deliverable is a presentation tool or a production blueprint, since the required detail differs.
